Refugee Resilience for a Freelance Future in Albania
Show Notes

Freelancers typically bring a range of innate character traits combined with life experiences, to forge their unique role in the world. But what if that life experience is an incredible story of multi-country immigration, parental sacrifice, culture shock, and personal transformation?

In the case of today's guest Lumjana Shehu, it means you want different choices for the next generation in your home country, and so you work to create skills and opportunities for young people.

Helping young Albanians develop the digital expertise they need, to have real choices to create a viable career and income where they live, strengthens the local economy and builds hope for the future, on an individual and societal level.

And you can help:
Learn more about the MaNaBu project in Albania, and the movement behind it: by young people, for young people. They need funding, and mentors, and your support

The next generation of global citizens will change the world for the better, and it's a privilege to share Lumjana's powerful story.

(We run slightly longer than usual, and with some auditory quality issues, as well as a guest appearance from one of Lumjana's dogs - but I am sure that won't detract from the impact of this uplifting tale.)
